After 2 exciting and high-class days, the team from Flyeralarm Admira emerged as a more than worthy tournament champion with their final victory against the Red Bull Academy. With perfect conditions, great weather, and two excellent venues, the numerous spectators witnessed thrilling matches from the first game, with tension surrounding the qualification for the intermediate phase. Only the top two teams from the 4 preliminary round groups made it to the Top 8, where the final spots were determined in the intermediate round. After an intense preliminary phase 1, 8 teams qualified for the upper half to compete for the tournament win. Among the 8 teams, there were 3 from Austria and 5 international representatives. The intermediate round was marked by the battle for the four coveted semifinal spots.<\/p>

After an intense group stage, the 4 semifinalists emerged \u2013 KRC Genk, Admira Wacker, Red Bull Academy, and Hamburger SV. In the exciting semifinals, Red Bull defeated HSV 3-1. In the second semifinal, Flyeralarm Admira won 4-3 on penalties against KRC Genk, setting up an Austrian final. The 26th edition of the Dr. Nimmrichter Memorial Tournament will be remembered by all participating teams, spectators, and sports enthusiasts as a unique event. Games at the highest technical level, enthusiastic spectators, top-level catering, and a friendly and warm atmosphere laid the foundation for a successful event.<\/p>
